High Holidays Drive for Palestine Emergency Fund

The High Holidays invite us to reflect, account for our actions, and take on the sacred work of repair. The damage and harm of the last year is unimaginable. In the face of prolonged crisis and devastation, community-led organizations in Palestine are responding with amazing courage to lift up our collective humanity and save lives. We invite you to step into the act of repair by supporting lifesaving work in Palestine. This is a joint fundraiser being held by dozens of congregations and groups who have come together in the Open Communities Directory with Rabbis for Ceasefire.

About the Palestine Emergency Fund:

Grassroots International’s Palestine Emergency Fund moves 100% of donations to trusted community-led organizations throughout Palestine, building on a 40-year legacy of partnering with local human rights defenders and providers of humanitarian relief. Since October, their partners in Gaza have delivered food, water, and supplies to over 84,000 families and supported 30 mobile health care teams amid the total collapse of Gaza’s health system. They also continue the critical work of documenting war crimes and human rights violations by the Israeli government as they seek justice through international courts. The work of Grassroots International’s partners is born of an unwavering commitment to self-determination, justice, and liberation.
