We are raising money for a High Jump pit for Luxton Park. For the past 5 years, Luxton has been building a terrific track team that engages youth ages 9-14 in track and field.  Many have children who have benefited from this program. Many have enjoyed seeing the team running at the park and through the neighborhood every spring. Some simply value park athletics that positively impact all the kids in our neighborhood.

With the redesign of the Luxton playground area, we have lost the ability practice and compete in long jump. Introducing High Jump will enable the team to maintain some field events and the city-wide competitions that occur in June and July. Also, High Jump is amazing!

Funding of a High Jump Pit will enhance and broaden the track and field offerings during the season. The pit will be owned, maintained, and stored by Luxton Park.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 by May 1, 2019!
