High School Bully (Movie)

Hi my name is Anthony Hackett and I am the writer and director of "High School Bully".

 

High School Bully is a movie about a group of 6 high school students who are all victims of bullying and how just one man can make a difference in their life. This film is a inspirational drama that will tug at your heart stings, tickle your funny bone, and ignite your spirit with powerful messages of hope, forgiveness, and standing up for yourself.

 

High School Bully is produced by Sonset Friday Entertainment , a multi-award winning faith-based production company.

 

We are going into production for this film starting June 6 and are fully casted and all crew'd up! We wanted to give the opportunity for people like yourself, who may be passionate about the topic of bullying, and/ or if you just enjoy films with positive messages... to not only support what we are doing but to literally be a part of a project that we believe God will use to help victims of bullying to overcome!

Here are some facts about bullying:

 

Bullying is harassment that is not only verbal, but also physical, emotional, and even spiritual. Bullying doesn't only happen in schools or with students, but people are being bullied, at their jobs, at their own homes, and even inside churches.

 

According to Pacer's National Bullying Prevention Center:

 

• Over 20% of students report being bullied
• Females have a slightly higher % of being bullied than males
• Students who experience bullying are at increased risk for poor school adjustment, sleep difficulties, anxiety, and depression
• Students who experience bullying are twice as likely as non-bullied peers to experience negative health effects such as headaches and stomachaches
• The percentages of individuals who have experienced cyber bullying at some point in their lifetimes have nearly doubled (18% to 34%) from 2[phone redacted]
• Race-related bullying is significantly associated with negative emotional and physical health effects
• Students who bully others, are bullied, or witness bullying are more likely to report high levels of suicide-related behavior than students who report no involvement in bullying
