High School STEM Go-Kart Project
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Yash Tate and I am a senior in high school. I am committed to UT Austin for Mechanical Engineering starting fall of 2024. Myself and a friend began working on this project in august, our motive was to research and design a performance go kart utilizing aerodynamics and engine modification.
Currently, we're facing a significant challenge – our project is being held back by our outdated engine and a severe lack of tools and resources. Every time we try to make progress, we hit a roadblock due to these limitations.
With your generous support, we can overcome these obstacles and bring our vision to life. By being able to afford maintenance parts for our engine as well as upgrades, we can ensure that our go-kart not only performs better but also prioritizes safety. Additionally, having access to the right tools and resources will enable us to carry out the necessary mechanical work with precision and efficiency.
Your donation will directly contribute to purchasing new engine parts, acquiring essential tools (such as 3d printing material and power tools), and securing the resources needed to kickstart our project. Whether it's $5 or $50, every contribution will make a difference and bring us one step closer to achieving our goal.
We're incredibly passionate about this project, and we're committed to seeing it through to the end. With your support, we can create a go-kart that not only excites us but also shows the world the beauty of mechanical engineering.
We will be constantly updating our progress so you are informed on where your donations are going.
Thank you for considering supporting our endeavor. Together, we can build something truly special.
Warm regards,
Yash and Kyle
