Memory of Steven Elijah Gessner

Steven Elijah Gessner, known by family and friends as Eli....
He was a sweet, well mannered young man. He was liked by everyone who met him. He was known for lighting up the room with his jokes, his laughter and his depth of compassion for people. Eli left for school on the morning of November 15th and as he was walking to school he entered the cross walk on on 83rd Ave where he was struck by a minivan, he was rushed to the hospital where they worked as hard as they could to save him, but the injuries he sustained were too severe and they couldn’t bring him back.
  Our family is devastated by his loss as it has left a huge hole in our lives. Cherish the ones you love every chance you get because you never know if it will be the last. We thank God for the gift of Eli, his life has had an incredibly beautiful impact on those who knew and loved him. Thank you to everyone who is praying for us.
