Derbyshire High Sheriff's Peak Pilgrimage

In my year as High Sheriff of Derbyshire I am walking the Peak Pilgrimage with friends and colleagues, 39 miles from Ilam, through the beautiful and uplifting Derbyshire countryside to the Plague village of Eyam - more significant than ever in this year of the Covid epidemic.

The Pilgrimage will raise money for ACE Youth Trust, which delivers life changing youth work, pastoral support, therapeutic and nurture services to disadvantaged, vulnerable and hard to reach children and young people aged 11-18 in the Ashbourne and Derbyshire Dales area.

ACE is wholly managed by volunteer trustees. The charity recruits, trains and supervises volunteers and qualified staff to deliver its services. In 2019 the charity received the prestigious Queen’s Award for Voluntary Services.

The Pilgrimage will take place over 4 days in September 2020 and will offer space for personal reflection, calling at the churches and chapels on the way.

Want to join me in making a difference for local young people? Please donate to ACE Youth Trust through this page. Any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means a lot to me.
