Hike with Halle : CAMHS
Donation protected
Hi My name is Halle, I am 12 years old who is in recovery from Emetophobia, OCD, intrusive thoughts and an Eating Disorder (afrid)
Me and my beautiful friends are taking part in a sunrise walk to the summit of Snowdon / Yr Wyddfa in June.
I have chosen to do this in honour of Camhs based at Fairfield Hospital Bury, who offer specialist services to children and young people who are experiencing mental health difficulties.
I know that without this service and support that they gave me, I do not know where I would be today. The team of specialists are truly amazing.
Children’s Mental Health is on the rise and there isn’t enough help out there, so I’m hoping and praying that I can raise enough money to even help just one child. I know I have done what I have set out to do and appreciate everyone’s support
As a child with mental health difficulties
I know it’s okay to not be okay.
A few ways you can support a child:
: Be there to listen;
: Support them through difficulties;
: Stay involved in their life;
: Encourage their interests;
: Take what they say seriously; and
: Build positive routines.
“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” Love Halle ♥️
