Hilbert's Goal
Donation protected
Loughgall Football Club legend, Hilbert Willis, is drawing inspiration from Captain Tom Moore to help raise money for his local Irish League club.
The 96-year-old has served Loughgall Football Club for over five decades in various roles, including chairman, committee member and renowned groundsman for 45 years. (He still supervises!)
Now Hilbert is taking on the challenge of walking 100 lengths of Lakeview Park, his beloved pitch, to help raise much-needed funds for his local club. Funds raised will be used towards the six-figure outlay on ground improvements to obtain the IFA Promotion Club Licence.
Hibert intends to start on Saturday 15th August 2020 and reach his 100-length target as quickly as possible with friends and family offering support along the way. Anyone who would like to donate towards Hilbert's target can simply do so via this page.
Thanks to everyone.
