Hallo,

 

mein Name ist Andreas und ich sammle Spenden für ein Hygiene und Zahnprojekt in Santa Maria de Cahabon in Guatemala.

 

Ich bin Zurzeit hier in einer recht abgelegenen Region in Guatemala und sehe, dass fast alle Kinder schon von Klein an Probleme mit Ihren Zähnen haben.

 

Es fehlt an der Zahnpflege, der Ausbildung der Mütter, wie Zähne gepflegt werden und es ist kaum zu glauben am Geld Zahnbürsten und Zahnpasta  (Zahnpasta heißt hier sowohl in Q*egchi als auch in Spanisch "Colgate" )zu kaufen.

 

Bei einer Familie mit 5 Kindern kosten die Zahnbürsten soviel wie die Familie an ein oder zwei Tagen verdient.

 

Hier gibt es keinen Zahnarzt und die Kinder bekommen keine Unterstützung oder Zahnärztliche Versorgung.

 

Ich bitte um Spenden für:

A) Zahnbürsten - Zahnpasta - und "Motivationsmaterial" um die Familien zu motivieren die Kinder zum Zähneputzen anzuhalten.

B) Wir wollen einen regelmäßigen Zahnarztbesuch organisieren. (So Ähnlich wie in Deutschland der Schulzahnarzt)

C) Wir wollen die notwendigen Behandlungen übernehmen (Zahnarztkosten - Fahrt in die Stadt - etc.)

 

Wir möchten helfen, dass die Menschen hier auch mit 20 oder 30 noch gute und funktionsfähige Zähne haben. Das Lächeln eines Kindes ist auch mit Karies schön. Doch ohne Karies noch viel schöner.

 

 

Die Spenden gehen an unseren Verein El Wauki (Spendenquittung) leider nur für Deutschland und werden ohne Verwaltungskosten direkt in das Projekt investiert. Wir werden hier regelmäßig berichten UND Alle Ausgaben dokumentieren und diese Information mit der Community teilen. 

Wir haben heute, 24.01.2022 unser Spendenziel verdoppelt, da durch eine Einzelspende der angestrebte Betrag erreicht wurde UND viele Menschen mir sagten sie möchten auch Beitragen. Damit können wir einen signifikant höheren Anteil an Kindern schulen, untersuchen und behandeln lassen. 

 

Jeder Tag zählt. Jeder Tag schädigt die Zähne der Kinder mehr und mehr


My name is Andreas and I am collecting donations for a hygiene, dental and education project in Santa Maria de Cahabon in Guatemala.

I am currently here in a quite remote region in Guatemala and I see that almost all children have problems with their teeth from an early age.

There is a lack of dental care, education of mothers on how to take care of teeth and it is hard to believe the money to buy toothbrushes and toothpaste (toothpaste is called "Colgate" in Q*egchi as well as in Spanish).

For a family with 5 children, the toothbrushes cost as much as the family earns in one or two days.

There is no dentist here and the children get no support or dental care.

I am asking for donations for:

A) Toothbrushes - toothpaste - and "motivational material" to motivate the families to encourage the children to brush their teeth.
B) We want to organise a regular visit to the dentist. (Similar to the school dentist in Germany).
C) We want to pay for the necessary treatments (dental costs - travel to the city - etc.).

We want to help people here to have good and functional teeth even in their 20s or 30s. A child's smile is beautiful even with caries. But without caries it is even more beautiful.

The donations go to our association El Wauki (donation receipt) unfortunately only for Germany and are invested directly in the project without administrative costs. We will report here regularly AND document all expenses and share this information with the community. 

Today, 24.01.2022, we have doubled our donation target, as the targeted amount was reached through a single donation AND many people told me they would also like to contribute. This will allow us to educate, screen and treat a significantly higher percentage of children. 


Every day counts. Every day damages the children's teeth more and more.
