Hilfe für Nase: Kampf gegen chronische Pankreatitis

Mein geliebter Kater Dastan, den ich nur "Nase" nenne, ist 12 Jahre alt und mein treuer Begleiter. Seit Oktober geht es ihm schlecht – er muss sich fast täglich erbrechen und hat in den letzten drei Monaten 600 Gramm abgenommen. Nach Bluttests und einem Ultraschall kam die Diagnose: chronische Pankreatitis. Es bricht mir das Herz, ihn so leiden zu sehen.

Wir haben alles versucht – andere Futtermarken, Schonkost – doch nichts hat geholfen. Aktuell ist Nase für drei Tage stationär beim Tierarzt, wo er Infusionen bekommt, in der Hoffnung, dass die Entzündung endlich zurückgeht. Die Behandlung gibt mir Hoffnung, aber die Kosten übersteigen meine Möglichkeiten. Aufgrund meiner eigenen Krankheit kann ich nicht arbeiten, und das Geld ist sehr knapp.

My beloved cat Dastan, who I just call "Nose", is 12 years old and my loyal companion. We tried everything - other brands of food, bland foods - but nothing helped. Nase is currently hospitalized at the vet for three days, where he is receiving infusions in the hope that the inflammation will finally go away.
