Help the Hillier Family Fight Police Brutality
Donation protected
The family of David Hillier, a 68 year old man, say that they witnessed outrageous police brutality at their home near Chesley, Ontario.
Hillier suffered life threatening injuries when he was arrested by local officers on June 5, 2020. He was taken from the Police Station by ambulance to a local hospital, assessed with life-threatening injuries, and then air-lifted to a hospital in London, Ontario. His injuries include multiple broken ribs, a collapsed lung, a broken nose and various bruising all over his body. He remains in hospital today. He was not charged with any offence. His son, Casey was also injured during the same incident.
They both maintain that the escalation was unnecessary, and Casey plans to vigorously defend himself against his charges, as well as hold the Officers in question accountable for their unwarranted actions.
The legal fees are estimated to reach in excess of $100 000, and we are looking for your help to support this family in their fight against police brutality.
