What is Odyssey of the Mind?

Odyssey of the Mind (OM) is an international competition, with teams from throughout the United States and over 20 other countries. It emphasizes creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork in the context of solving science, technology, engineering, arts, and math problems.

About the Event:

On April 6, 2024, one of Hillside Elementary's Odyssey of the Mind teams placed in the Virginia State OM competition, earning a chance to represent Virginia and Hillside at the OM World Finals. The competition will be held this year on the campus of Iowa State University from May 21-24!

The money raised by this campaign will help cover the team's travel expenses to Iowa, and room and board at Iowa State University for the team, their parents, and the coach during the 4-day competition.
