Hillside’s New Mascot

CALLING ALL HORNET FAMILY!!

With the momentum of Hillside’s Centennial Celebration AND both the Varsity and JV’s UNDEFEATED football seasons, along with our Principal, Dr. William Logan, being named Principal of the Year by Durham Public Schools, what better way to commemorate all this positive energy other than giving back!!

Hillside is without a presentable Mascot that reflects our celebrated blue and white!! Leadership at Hillside has agreed with dedicated, involved alumni, and approved the purchase of a NEW and IMPROVED mascot.

That’s where the Hornet Nation comes in!! We need YOU!! The cost of the mascot is $5000, with the down payment of $2500 needed immediately in order for production to begin!! Please support this endeavor with your gifts, whether big or small!! Please also consider sharing with any community stakeholders that would also like to pour into Dear Ole Hillside!!
