Hinkle's Racing To Recovery
Donation protected
Hi, My name is Angie and I'm a very good family friend to the Hinkle's. In the beginning minutes of 2023 on the way home, a drunk diver hit the Hinkle's truck. The impact caused the Hinkle's truck to drive off the right side of the road, through a guardrail, and down an embankment. Bobby and Shelley were both treated for serious, life-threatening injuries. They were transported to South Bend Memorial where Bobby had to undergo a 5-hour back surgery to repair his broken back. Shelley has a broken back and was fitted for a back brace which she will have to wear for 12 weeks and go regularly to have X-rays done and check-ups with doctors. Shelley was able to come home on January 7th. Bobby's discharge date is still being determined. Unfortunately, Sarah Cantrell ( Shelley's mom) didn't survive her injuries due to the crash. Shelley and Bobby will be out of work for at least 8 months and will have to do physical therapy, occupational therapy and counseling due to the traumatic accident. Please keep praying for a speedy recovery. Any donation is greatly appreciated. If you would like to use "Cash app" please use $Savannah1857 or facebook pay to Savannah Hinkle.
