Hip surgery for Tula

Tula is only 4 years old.. my best copilot.. an exceptional dog… if you know her, you know…

she was hit by a truck a couple of weeks ago.. and this tough cookie came away with only a dislocated hip.

it was attempted to put back into place, and with only a 50/50 chance of staying, it did not hold.

there are two surgery options.. both around $3,000.. one being less evasive and with more normal function. But would need to be performed in the next week.. this is the one we are hoping for… otherwise, the other, they will remove the head of the femur and rely on the muscles to keep the leg functional.. this recovery time will take months, whereas the other option is only a few weeks…

she’s an active doggo, and is definitely missing her time playing fetch or working for her ball, as well as going on hikes or following on trail rides..

any bit will help.. and potentially save her from euthanasia as this is not an affordable surgery, and can not be left alone without causing extreme pain and damage
