Dear Hip Hop Fit Family and Friends,
My name is Gene Hicks, and for the last 6 years, I've had the pleasure of working out with thousands of people throughout the Midwest doing my workout, Hip Hop Fit is a dance based cardio and strength workout, perfect for people of all ages and abilities.
Many people have had great success through loyal participation in classes and using the DVD workouts. Their transformations are truly remarkable. The community that has grown out of Hip Hop Fit is beyond incredible, and I am truly humbled by all the support the Hip Hop Fit community has shown me.
It is time for me to be the owner of the studio that will help our community continue to grow and be fit. I've found a great location in Bolingbrook to house our studio.
I plan to offer classes 6 days a week with classes running in the mornings and evenings.
Future plans include adding different formats of workout including yoga, Latin Fusion, Bollywood, kick-boxing/self-defense, and strength training. I will also offer family hip hop classes and break-dance fitness classes. The studio will be a perfect place for private events and parties, special fitness events, and more. The possibilities are endless.
With your support and contributions, I will be able to acheive my dream of opening my own studio. My goal is to open by February, 2016. To move the process forward, the money is needed as soon as possible and all proceeds from this campaign will be used to establish Hip Hop Fit as an LLC, secure the location, install flooring and mirrors, and obtain necessary equipment and permits.
Opening this studio means a lot to me. I have always dreamed of creating a space that will allow me to continue to grow our community through accessible and affordable fitness classes .
