'His Fight Is Our Fight' for Paul Warnke

Hello, This fundraiser is set up for Paul Warnke & his family by community friends.
On November 26, 2021, Janeen (Paul's wife) took Paul to Weatherford ER with complaints of abdominal pain. There, the doctors discovered he had a perforated colon. The doctors transferred him to Integris Bass Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. He had a 6 cm abscess in his colon. Paul then had an IR drain inserted to drain the abscess. He went home from Integris Bass Baptist Hospital on December 3rd. Paul suffered a seizure on December 10th and was rushed back to Integris for further testing. A mass on Paul's front left temporal lobe was discovered. OU Medical Center then took over his case, and another small mass on Paul's lung presented itself. The following day, Paul was released from the hospital to return to meet with a neurologist later in the week. On December 27th, Paul underwent brain mass removal surgery; the doctors discovered that the mass was Glioblastoma in all actuality. He remained in the hospital for an additional four days for recovery. Since having the Glioblastoma removed from his frontal lobe, Paul has been experiencing double vision, treated locally by Dr. Robert, O.D. Janeen and Paul met with the neuro-oncologist two weeks after surgery. The pathology results returned; Paul was diagnosed with Glioblastoma grade 4, otherwise referred to as GBM 4. After deep discussions with their family, Janeen and Paul decided on cancer treatments at Stephensen Cancer Center at OU to enjoy time with their family. Treatment is 18 months long and consists of Proton, Chemo, and infusion therapy, which insurance does not entirely cover. They will need assistance with medical bills, transportation, lodging and meal expenses. Unfortunately, Paul cannot work, which leaves Janeen as the sole provider. Janeen's sister has volunteered to move in with the family to help care for the children while they are away for treatment. Paul and his family are staples in our community (Canute) and the Elk City Community. There has been an account set up in Paul's name at Great Plains Bank in Elk City for assistance with medical expenses.
Paul & Janeen have a wonderful family consisting of Blake (25) & Krissi, Daylen (22) & Brooke, Dustee (18), Hensley (17) & Tate (7).
