His Life Was Too Short

17-year-old Ben Dagget lost the battle after fighting in a comma for weeks. Ben was hit and dragged by a car on a crosswalk while riding his bike to work. From his father, a Navy Chief Petty Officer, at an early age, he learned to be responsible, independent, and supportive of others. He was very enthusiastic to go to work every day with the plan to save money and get himself a car.
This tragic event has caused heartache and devastation to everyone. Today we are asking you to help cover the cost of the funeral that this family should have never planned.
A message from his father Alex.
"Ben, my beautiful son who just turned 17 while in comma was a handsome, smart and kind person. He believed in helping people and that truly was when he was the happiest. He loved video games, music, football, his friends and family. Ben made me so proud to be a father. He left a piece of himself with everyone encountered with. The pain that is left, is something that no one should ever have to experience, the opposite side of that is the love that is so deep. I saw how hurt people were and I had no idea the amount of lives he touched in his short time. That is truly the mark of someone who made a difference in the world and my son made a difference to so many people. He was good, kind and loved."
