Historian Barry Lewis Memorial
Donation protected
I'm starting this to help raise funds for 2 different projects to memorialize Barry Lewis Architectural Historian, Professor, Mentor and beloved friend. Sadly we lost him at age 75 on Jan 12th while he was vacationing in San Diego, CA.
He touched so many people's lives both professionally and in his travels.
There are various projects being worked on currently to Memorize his incredible legacy.
1st - A Bronze Cenotaph plaque bearing his name has been donated by friends of the Maple Grove Cemetery. It is to be placed next to the lake in Maple Grove Cemetery which is up the street from were Barry lived over 40 years in Kew Garden. Funds would be used to pay for the cost of the the plaque.
2nd - There will be a One Year Memorial Anniversary Service to honor his memory at the Victorian House Center at Maple Grove Cemetery. (Tentatively Jan 2022) Funds would be used to create and cater this evening
Please help with whatever you can.
He is dearly missed and we are looking to do these projects in his honor.
Thank you,
Frank LaPointe (Barry's Personal assistant)
