Historic Filipinotown - Smash & Grab Victim

Donation protected
Historic Filipinotown businesses were hit the other night by smash and grabbers. Dollar Hits, LA Beauty and Mom’s Bakery were victims of the crime.

Tita Elvie, owner of Dollar Hits, has been a main staple of the “HiFi” community for many decades. In addition to providing a unique Filipino street food experience in Historic Filipinotown, Tita Elvie is always helping the community. We just heard that when she found out there was a homeless Filipino man in the are she opened her heart and gave him a job at Dollar Hits and found him a place to stay while funding it herself.

We want to help them out during this difficult time by lessening the burden during the holidays.

Come on pamilya, help the HiFi business owners today!

This fundraiser brought to you by the HiFi and FilAm communities that love HiFi!

This fundraiser was started by Jennifer Taylor (a good friend of Tita Elvie). The money will be collected by me and distributed directly equally to the business owners to help with the repair/replacement expenses, preventative security measures and to help with the holidays.
