Historic First Annual Loogootee Pride Fest

This year, my longtime friends Tim and Tracy Brown-Salsman's (TNT) ongoing efforts following last June's denial of the local LOVE display in town have not been in vain! After being denied a LOVE IS LOVE display for PRIDE MONTH on the Town Square in 2022, Tim and Tracy continued to advocate on the state and local level for the LGBTQ community in Loogootee and surrounding counties.

The first ever LOOGOOTEE PRIDE FEST on June 10, 2023 is officially being held on JUNE 10, 2023 to celebrate Loogootee's LGBTQ community, promote diversity and inclusion, and celebrate LOVE all around the Town Square!

With continued LGBTQ advocating and involvement on local and state levels to evolve their small Indiana community into a welcoming and diverse home for everyone, progress is now afoot!

And this will all happen right outside the front door from where Tim and Tracy have resided for over 25 years. Everyone is welcome! And donations are appreciated, as we work to generate funds for sounds, bands, activites, photography!

Tim Brown and I served together as AmeriCorps VISTA volunteers in Baltimore in 1998-2000. I am so excited for being able to help support TNT and their community, so I have donated design and fundraising services to help create a brand, merch and raise money for the festival!

Each donation of $50 will receive a custom black or white tshirt with the Pride Fest logo I designed for Tim and Tracy's event.

Any donation of $100 or more will receive of bundle of Loogootee Pride merch to wear and share as we build momentum and raise money to make this festival a MOMENTOUS occasion for everyone in the community and all who support little LOOGOOTEE!

Mine is a labor of love for friends who have overcome adversity and hate for many many years....proving that LOVE will always find a way.

WILL YOU SHOW YOUR LOVE WITH ME FOR LOOGOOTEE PRIDE? Opening your hearts in celebration of diversity and welcoming every neighbor into your home without judgment seems to be such a simple and human wish that should never be denied or overlooked. ON JUNE 10th, togetherness will be CELEBRATED in all its glory! JOIN US!

All proceeds raised will pay for the tshirts, photo rental to provide free event photos to event guests, and for band and DJ fees.
