Restore The Fountain
Tax deductible
Through the ongoing support of 18th Ward Alderman Jesse Todd and our active neighborhood organizations, we are excited to announce a community fundraiser for the restoration of Fountain Park’s historic fountain! After decades of neglect and decay, we are aiming our development efforts within Fountain Park to include the restoration of the park’s most historic monument and its namesake. Our goal is to raise $30,000 which is the estimated cost of repairs for the fountain as well as the working plumbing which sits below the surface.
We have chosen the design team at AKT Studio who is best known in the community for restoring the statue of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in 2018, which is also located in Fountain Park. (www.aktstudiostl.com)
This fundraiser is a not-for-profit collaboration between Fountain Park’s non-profit community supporters and contributions are therefore 100% tax-deductible.
Note: The IRS requires that a tax-exempt organization send a formal acknowledgment letter for any donation that is more than $250. The donor will use this letter as proof of his or her donation to claim a tax deduction.
