Hit and Run, Recovery for Ye'

Donation protected
Peace everyone, Sunday night was a nightmare that we are still trying to forget. Sunday night (12.4.16), my girlfriend Donye "Ye'" was involved in a pedestrian hit and run.

About 9:15 pm coming home from picking up Ye' from work, we were walking across the street to our apartment buliding to enjoy the rest of the night before I was supposed to head to my place of work overnight.

I was about a foot infront of Ye' walking and all of a sudden I heard a boom. I turn my head and Ye' is falling from the sky while a car is still speeding down our street never looking back. She fell face foreward and jumped right back up (assuming from the adrenaline), I scream from the view of all the blood pouring out and she runs to me and falls.

Scared, we were so scared. I held her in my arms keeping her head up trying to keep her awake and our spirits. Luckily we had one of our neighbors that live in our building right by our side coaching us while we waited for the paramedics to come.

We are so grateful to have her here and alive, she managed to not have anything wrong internally.( A miracle.) She busted her forehead really deep, all of her front teeth are chipped and either pushed back or was knocked out. Her bottom teeth are completly chipped and she has been in allot of major pain  due to nerve damage in her gums.
(warning blood shown in pictures below)

Doctors say they are attempting to save her teeth by reattatching her teeth in her gums with a wire, then eventually be able to bless her with a new beautiful smile.

We are so grateful to have her here in such a stable condition but this is such a traumatic experience for both of us. We hope that with the help of our police department we will be able to find out who hit my love and find some justice.

Due to all of this happening she will be out of work for a bit. With the person who hit her never stopping, we are left to pay the hospital bills and her out patient work on our own. We are both young artists and live on our own with the bits of money we get from our jobs to get by.

If there is anything anyone can do to help get Ye' recovered quickly, we are forever grateful.
Donye' also has been suffering from depression prior to the accident so we are even grateful for the people who are just giving us great energies to heal.

Most importantly we want to catch the person who did this to her. Hopefully with the help of crimestoppers and NOPD we can get that done.

Thank you so much, I promised her we will get through this and we will. <3
