Hit and Run Victim Recovery Fund for Zach

Last evening, New Years Eve AND Zach’s birthday as my daughter was on her way to work at the hospital in Sarasota Florida, she ran out of gas. Upon pulling over in the emergency lane, she called her boyfriend for help. He arrived with the gas and their 1 year old son. As he was finishing putting gas in her vehicle, she walked around the vehicle to put the baby in his car seat when she heard a loud crash. At this time she realized her SUV was hit and so was her boyfriend. Zachary was thrown a good distance causing clothes to be ripped off and shoes across the highway. The driver did not stop :( Zach is hospitalized with numerous injuries and unable to stand or walk right now. We thank God for his Mercy and Protection allowing them to still be here with us and know this will be a journey where they’ll need all the help they can possibly get. Uber and taxi cost, as she didn’t have rental coverage, deductibles, medical bills and living expenses, as my daughter is in nursing school and will have to be a sole provider temporarily so Zach can recover properly.

I have never felt so HELPLESS in all my life hearing my daughter on the phone crying so hard that she couldn’t even speak. Imagine seeing someone you love almost being taken away from you by a careless driver that has absolutely no regards to human life. Being 16 hours away from someone that needed you THERE at that very moment to console them is something I hope I never have to face again.

I am not the one to ask anymore for help when it comes to my immediate family, but we really NEED your help. Please keep my daughter and Zach lifted in prayers as well and pray this driver is found to take responsibility for hardship
