Children Hit and Run in Calgary (Beddington) –
Help Amber's Two Children & Their Family!
On November 20th, 2015 our friend & co-worker's two children were involved in a hit and run on their way to school. They were ‘mowed-over’ by a white pick-up truck who then fled the scene. Our friend’s 11 year old son was taken to hospital with soft tissue injuries and requires surgery. Her 9 year old daughter was taken to hospital with a broken leg and also requires surgery. Their brother witnessed everything and all three children are experiencing the traumitizing effects of this event.
Many of you have friends and family who have suffered through this kind of tragedy and are aware that there are always additional costs (physiotherapy, providing 24 hour care for an indefinite period of time, home modifications for wheelchairs...) involved with dealing with such a horrendous event.
Please help Amber and her family in their time of need, as it will be a long recovery physically and emotionally for everyone.
