Emergency Moving Expenses
Donation protected
Hey guys, many of you know me as Rachel, Roachie or Xenia. I was living in northern Washington on the road in a campervan and took a flight to Indiana to visit my partner. Upon a visit to meet his family, I began disassociating and processing all of my childhood trauma all at once.
I was so anxious I could not sleep for two days, began hallucinating and slipped into psychosis. My heartbeat was extremely elevated so my partner called 911 and the paramedics and police arrived. I was so scared and the hallucinations were exacerbated as they proceeded to strap me down to the gurney.
Upon arrival at the hospital, I was so deep into psychosis that I was admitted against my will into a psych ward. I remained there getting treatment and psychiatric care for three days. Upon my discharge, I was diagnosed with PTSD and schizophrenic spectrum disorder. This unexpected hospitalization caused me to miss my flight back to Washington.
I am creating this GoFundMe because I need to recover my belongings, my vehicle and my cats which are all still in Bellingham, Washington. I will be relocating to Evansville, Indiana to continue my psychiatric care in a stable and comfortable home. This unexpected transition has completely blindsided me but I know that it is necessary for my healing and benefit.
The funds which I am raising will go directly towards a oneway flight to Bellingham, Washington where I will collect my belongings and begin my travels in my car back to Evansville. The money will go towards any necessary car repairs for the 2,400-mile drive, the cost of gasoline, hotel stays for myself and my cats, and any necessary food/animal care expenditures during my travels. Any additional funds left over will be put towards my first month's rent in Indiana and upcoming bills.
Please, consider helping me out by donating to my cause. I am financially depleted and do not know how I will be able to achieve retrieval of my belongings and animals without assistance from generous individuals who care about my circumstances. I've never been in a more precarious financial situation.
