Dewayne Brown spent 12 years and 62 days in prison, nearly 10 of those years on death row in Texas.  Dewayne was released on June 8, 2015 and declared actually innocent in March 2019.  His courageous story of faith, redemption and justice is profiled on The Innocence Files on Netflix (starting on April 15).

Despite being declared actually innocent, Dewayne has still not received the compensation he deserves from the time he spent in prison, awaiting death for a crime he did not commit.  His fight continues, and his lawyers will NEVER give up, but the road remains long. Dewayne still lives every day with his wrongful conviction.
