Surviving a Drunk Driver

Hello there, my name is Tamika. I have created this Gofundme in efforts of raising money for my daughter.

On yesterday, 12-22-24 my daughter Chelsea & her 9 month old son were headed home when she was struck & hit head on by a drunk driver. The accident caused both of them to be taken to the hospital immediately. Baby appears to be doing well at this moment, he is home resting with family. However his mom, my daughter was admitted through the trauma unit. She has a broken hand, some minor internal bleeding inside of her thoracic cavity as well as many bone contusions & airbag burns. Her car is a total loss which i have attached a photo of.

Due to this tragic accident, we are unsure of when she will be able to return to work. Her jobs require her to use both hands which she is unable to do. The doctors that have been taken care of her have also mentioned bed rest due to the significant amount of pain she’s experiencing. Although work will be placed on hold, bills will not stop coming in. If you can find it in your heart to help my daughter during this difficult time, it would be greatly appreciated. If not, we wholeheartedly understand. We just pray you will share this for us & keep her and baby boy in your prayers. We are so blessed to have them here with us today, without gods mercy we could’ve been sitting around planning funeral services 3 days before Christmas.
