Help Tammie get a Hero Arm
Hello, my name is Tammie I'm 32 and I was born without my left arm.
From the day I was born, my Mom, Dad and loved ones have always brought me up to be no different from anyone else in the world and learn to do things my own way.
The truth is, I am different but I am also strong and independent.
Problem is 32 years down the line not having 2 arms is taking its toll on my health and causing my other arm to not be as strong as I need it to be.
By chance I came across Open Bionics, and this could be such a life changing experience for me. Could this be it for me, not having the stress to peel the potatoes, do the housework or even tie my shoelaces would be amazing. To be able to give my family members, my nieces and nephew the biggest of cuddles with both arms would mean the world to me.
Having a bionic arm could mean I could learn to drive without having the worry of modifications, meaning better job perspectives with a better brighter future ahead of me and maybe one day fulfil my dream of travelling the world.
This new arm is going to change my life in ways I could only ever dream about.
Open Bionics are going to support me trying to fund my Hero Arm but I also need your help, I need to raise £10,000. I'd be so very grateful of anyone willing to help me make this next important, life changing step in my life. For a life as normal as can be and moments made possible with a hero arm.
