Bradley Holt Family Fund

On November 13th our community experienced another case of senseless violence in Miami. Bradley Holt (24) son of Glenn Holt Sr. and Nolita Mams was killed while protecting young children from a car driving erratically outside his house. Bradley’s natural instinct was to shout out at the people (to be careful) speeding down the street in a neighborhood where children were playing. They drove back around the block and shot him.
Holt was born January 22, 1990 and he graduated from Miami Northwestern Senior High School in 2008. He was a member of the two time state championship and national champion football teams as a cornerback. Bradley grew up playing Pop Warner football in the inner city with his brothers. One of his brothers, former Miami Jackson QB Quinten Flowers currently plays at the University of South Florida.
After high school, Bradley continued to follow his football dreams and attended a prep school in Houston, TX. After just one year, Bradley moved back home to Miami as he was concerned about his little brothers and steering them in the right direction in life. Bradley always had a big heart and he took pride in helping others. He worked to provide for his family, not only monetarily, but he felt responsible in helping to raise his little brothers properly. Growing up in the inner-city, Bradley knew how tough the streets were and it is terribly ironic and sad that that he would lose his life trying to protect innocent children from the violence he always worried about.
In an effort to assist his family, we have set up this fundraiser to pay for Bradley’s Funeral expenses, as well as to provide financial assistance for his little brothers who he was always looking out for. Any support you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
Bradley Holt 1/22/1990-11/13/2014. Gone, but never forgotten. Rest in Peace.
