December 11, 2018: A 40-year-old man was critically injured Tuesday after he fell three stories from the roof of a house under construction in Hugo.

Jose Rojas was flown to Regions Hospital in St. Paul by Life Link helicopter following the fall, which happened just after 9 a.m. in the 14100 block of Oneka Parkway, said Sgt. Joe Stoehr of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Stoehr said Rojas remained in the hospital Wednesday, but his condition was unknown.

Rojas was working in a housing development called Clearwater Cove, just south of Frenchman Road, which also is known as Washington County 8. The development has about 90 homes in it; the man was working on one of the last homes under construction, said Bryan Bear, city administrator.

This campaign is organized by  Clearwater Cove residents  to help  raise  money for Jose  Rojas  recovery.
