Hello to everyone with humanity in this world. I'm speaking to you from Gaza, and I don't know if we will survive in the coming days from this death that draws nearer with each passing day.
"God spared me from the previous wars on Gaza, but this war is entirely different. Perhaps in the coming days, I will no longer be among you. Death may take me as it took my friends and relatives from me."
"My name is Anas Ashour. I am 22 years old, born in 2002. I live in Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip. I studied for two years in the Faculty of Engineering (Software and Databases) at Al-Azhar University. I graduated in 2022. I was working in freelance and worked hard to save enough money to continue my studies. I had dreams and ambitions, and I wanted to continue my education, but this war took away my dreams and ambitions, as well as my friends and relatives."
In the few months before the war, we prepared part of our home, which had been damaged by previous wars, and we put in great effort, as we "poured our heart's blood" into furnishing it. It cost us a significant amount of money, and I was ready to continue my studies and get married. But the war did not allow that. It didn’t even grant us a simple life, which is a right for every human being in this world. This world has become desolate, where we witness death and hunger every day, and it cannot even save our children.
My father was a doctor and had his own private clinic, which was his sole source of income and the source of livelihood for the entire family (a family of 10 people). I also had my own equipment and tools for work in my field of study and freelancing. But now, we have lost our source of income, lost our money, lost our home, lost our friends, and lost our relatives. We have lost everything in life.

"Our beloved home, which was a symbol of our efforts and love, was completely destroyed in this war. All I found were some rocks stained with the torn clothes we were wearing."
"I cherish my beautiful, loving, and kind family. My father, mother, and my siblings—Mohammed, Ghassan, and my sisters Dima, Yara, Saja, Noor, Afnan, and Zina. Our father was imprisoned during the war, which has made it difficult for him to view life with optimism.
I was also injured in the early days of this war during the Jabalia (Al-Terrance) massacre on October 9, and my injury was critical. However, thanks to God, I recovered despite the severe lack of treatment, food, and water in northern Gaza. Later, I sustained several minor injuries, and some rocket shrapnel still remains in my body to this day. I cannot have it removed because of the blockade imposed on northern Gaza, where there is no medical equipment or surgical operations available until now.
Our sorrows could fill and overwhelm the world. Oh God, why does all of this happen?"
"This is a report of my injury."
"Then we moved to Jabalia, but we couldn't find a safe and clean place. All the streets were completely destroyed, and the shelters were entirely ruined. We had no place to put our clothes, food, and belongings except on the contaminated ground, as you can see. This was our condition in these circumstances."
"We were forced to sit in a tent on sandy land contaminated with sewage and destruction, covering an area of 8 square meters. Twenty meters of precious nylon and some ropes—that's how the scar on the ground, called 'the tent,' was made, meant to shelter an entire family meeting all its needs within its walls. Living inside it without a bathroom, without a kitchen, without flooring, without pillars, without covers, without warmth, without anything except a heavy heart, a wandering mind, an empty stomach, dense fog, and a very long night, accompanied by sorrow, the loss of loved ones, wind, rain, and bone-chilling cold. And so, we await death."

We all need at least medical and psychological care to alleviate some of this pain, also due to the prevalence of diseases and the lack of clean drinking water and the scarcity of food.
We deserve a dignified life like any human in this world. We don't want to live just to survive; we don't want to live like animals only thinking about drinking and eating. We want to live with dignity, with freedom. I am full of hope and optimism that you will support us and help us. If you find that we deserve a better life, please help us in this campaign, which is $55,000.
• The permits and fees necessary to leave the Gaza Strip through the Egyptian Rafah are $5,000 per person (10 people, which is $55,000), in addition to $5,000 to secure the lives of 9 people for rent, buying clean clothes, and securing food and drink at least in the first few days.
Thank you very much for being interested in reading and hearing my story. You are not obliged to help, but we all hope that you will help us and that we will live a dignified life free from bombing, death, blood, and destruction, and also free from continuous hunger and thirst, a life full of cleanliness and hope.
