9/11 Endurance Run: With a great deal of running and support, 50 plus runners and volunteers, will run from Shanksville PA via the Pentagon, and on to New York for a 9/11 arrival. Over 450 miles of running, and our second year paying tribute to our heroes from 9/11. This year we will introduce TASK FORCE 93, in tribute to the victims of Flight 93. Thirty runners will run the 175 miles from Shanksville and rally with the rest of our team at the Pentagon and begin our journey to New York. We will run from Arlington VA through the District of Columbia, into Maryland and North and East across Pennsylvania. By day three we will arrive in NJ and make our way to Staten Island and across the Hudson on the Ferry in time for 9/11. We will do readings at Shanksville and at the Pentagon for the fallen, and a prayer vigil in NY when we arrive. We are running to honor the memories of our heroes who paid the ultimate sacrifice 24 years ago, and the legacy of Firefighter Stephen Siller, an inspiration to us all.
