In Memory: NYPD Sgt Paul Tuozzolo
Donation protected
Our neighbor NYPD Sergeant Paul Tuozzolo tragically lost his life on Friday, November 4, 2016 while at work - serving and protecting the Bronx, New York community. Paul was 41 years young, a member of the New York Police Department for 19 years, a resident of Huntington, a husband, and a father of two young children under 5 years old.
We are all full of SO many emotions right now - shocked, horrified, heartbroken and FURIOUS that Sergeant Tuozzolo was stolen from his family, friends, coworkers and our community!! At the same time, we are in awe and appreciation of him - and his fellow Officers - who knowingly put their lives on the line every day for us...and we are left with a single lingering emotion...an oppressive sadness for what will never be.
Especially for his wife and 2 babies...and all of the amazing life milestones ahead that Paul won't be there for. The vast black hole of his loss that will forever be with them. THIS CAMPAIGN is to help ease Paul's family through those impossible, seemingly impassable, moments. This campaign's goal is to let them know that THEY ARE NOT ALONE in our community. That every face they see around them cares about them - even if we don't personally know them. We are ALWAYS here for each other in the Town of Huntington. It's just what we do...and who we are.
Every penny of the money raised in this campaign will be given to Paul Tuozzolo's wife to be used however she and her children need. Maybe it'll be to pay their housing expenses, to buy school supplies when their children go to Kindergarten, for groceries, or to put their kids through college. Whatever it is - this fund will ease their burdens. Any donation amount is GREATLY appreciated, and will help this family tremendously.
If you personally know this family, or Sergeant Paul Tuozzolo, please feel free to leave a comment or story about him in tribute. Everyone - Please keep the family in your prayers.
