On Saturday March 5, our family experienced a tragic accident. My brother-in-law, Daniel Pena, was in a traumatic boating accident. He had been out for a nice day on the water with his nephews, David and Daniel, and their friend to celebrate David's birthday. On their way back to the dock, Danny was driving the boat and was thrown from the boat and ended up being injured by the propeller on his face and head. Thankfully, the boys he was with reacted extremely quickly and efficiently and was able to pull him into the boat with much of a struggle. Thank God for their quick reaction as they saved his life. Right now we are focusing on getting Danny in a stable state. He will be needing countless amounts of facial, head, and hand surgeries along the way. We are so extremely blessed with his progress and thanking God for all that he's doing to help with Danny's recovery. With all this comes extremely expensive medical bills while both Danny and Holly will be out of work for who knows how long.
