Help Fadi keep his family alive in Gaza
Update:
Thanks to your donations, the food was purchased. I thank you and I hope that you will always not forget us for the sake of my family. Thank you all.
I am Fadi, living in Gaza. I was completing my studies, but unfortunately the unthinkable happened. The war came and took everything from me and my family. I am reaching out to you from the depths of the despair we feel in Gaza in the midst of war. The horrors of the ongoing war have stripped away memories of a life that was peaceful, full of love and safety. A home was destroyed and I now live in a tent. The pain, suffering and humiliation we have endured cannot be expressed in words. Our journey has become a painful odyssey, and the burden of rebuilding our lives and escaping the darkness of this war-torn land has become insurmountable. As ordinary civilians with no involvement in the conflict, my family and I yearn to be free from this nightmare. My university has been destroyed and with it my dreams. I want to escape the war to find safety and complete my studies and my dream of studying engineering. The harsh reality is that the cost of escape is staggering – $7,500 per person. For those of us who lack a safe haven, this amount represents a huge barrier that threatens to trap us in this suffering. As we strive for safety and a semblance of normalcy, I turn to you, the human race, for help. Every contribution, big or small, is a lifeline that can pull me and my family out of the abyss. Join us in breaking the chains that bind us to this suffering.
