Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Basic Enhancements Inc, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
Opened in May of 2017 in Lawrenceville GA, Thrif-tique Boutique & Community Resource Center is the community outreach arm of Basic Enhancements Inc. A 501c3 established in 2007.
A thrift store like no other, Thrif-tique serves the underserved in Gwinnett and surrounding counties.
Stocked with new and gently used clothing, toiletries, household items, and a well stocked pantry we are open Tuesday to Saturday.
Clients are referred to us by local churches and partnering agencies. They are then allocated a voucher amount based on family size and immediate need. With said voucher they can shop at no cost for items needed.
Our community outreach coordinator is available to assist with a mirad of issues such as emergency housing, transportation to appointments, court ordered community service, and gas cards. We also provide direct links to partnering agencies. Our goals are to provide immediate resources to families and individuals in need.
At this time we are on the verge of closing our doors. In order to continue our work in the community we are in dire need of funding.
A portion of our proceeds support local teachers and educational programs in metro Atlanta.
