David Neubert Heart Transplant Medical Expenses ❤️
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Candy Neubert, I am the wife to the Most Sweetest, Most Unselfish Person- David Neubert. We are from Knoxville, Tennessee. I'm setting up this page for anyone that may like to contribute for the unexpected/ upcoming medical expenses. It's kinda long, but unfortunately this is our Story..
- David was admitted to University Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee on March 20, 2023 for a heart procedure for Ventricular Tachycardia/Fibrillation. This is for irregular heart rhythm that can cause Cardiac Arrest. He had a device ICD (implanted shocking device) that would detect send electric shocks to his heart.
- He has suffered from Irregular Cardiac Rhythms, Heart Failure for the past several years.
- On Wednesday, March 22, 2023, our lives changed forever when doctor's gave us a diagnosis regarding David's heart condition that was much worse than we thought.
- The procedure that was performed for the Ventricular Tachycardia/Fibrillation was unsuccessful.
- On Monday, March 27, 2023, Ventricular Tachycardia Rhythm caused him to go into what the Doctor's called a "Ventricular Tachycardia Storm".
- Tuesday, March 28, 2023, He became unstable, very critical. He was placed on a ventilator/breathing machine in hopes to control this rhythm. He went into Ventricular Fibrillation/Cardiac Arrest was shocked "3" times. The uncontrollable rhythm caused the Left Ventricle of his heart to basically explode.
- Doctor's had to perform life saving measures he was placed on a ECMO Machine. ECMO (Extracorpeal Membrane Oxygenation) which became his temporary heart took over all of his heart functions. ECMO pumped oxygenated blood through out his body continously.
- Wednesday, March 29, 2023, He was evaluated on Emergency Basis in order for him to be placed for an Emergency Heart Transplant. So in 3 Days, on Saturday, April 1, 2023 he received a "New Heart" ❤️ from a Donor! We are Soooo Thankful, Greatful for this "Gift of Life" so David could Live.. So there is family that "lost a family member" so my Sweet David could continue to live, be a husband, be with his family, be a Papaw (5 Grandbabies) be with his friends.
- So People have been asking me, "What they could do to help us"..
1. Prayers for Recovery, Healing, Strength,
Prayers for the Donor Family. ✝️
2. David will have many, many trips for follow up care for doctor appointments, heart biopsies, educational sessions, round trips for travel to/from Knoxville and Nashville, etc.
- Any Donations would be Greatly Appreciated! May our Lord's Grace, Mercy be with each of you!
- Thank You! Candy & David Neubert ✝️☀️
