Based on recent assessments, lack of disclosure of information to the community (cancellation of insurance), inaccurate information and the reluctance from SeaBreeze management to produce requested documents, it's in the community's best interest to obtain clarity to avoid future unnecessary evaluations at OUR expense.
To do so, we have spoken with MBK Chapman, who reviewed the notices, budget and reserves and feels it is in our best interest to pursue this.
The retainer of $3,500 will allow us to obtain all the required information from SeaBreeze Management to audit the financial decisions that have put our association into this situation. From there, we, as a community, can determine the next steps.
But at this point, we need to come together and support one another.
Our goal is to be proactive regarding the recent assessments, and as a community of homeowners, we deserve 100% transparency for HOA fees and assessments.
