Hobie 1 needs a transplant.

Donation protected
Because of all of you that have donated we will be able to pay for the dental work he needs done over the next 3 weeks. It's one hurdle to jump over to get.on the liver transplant list. In about 2 weeks we will find out if the nuclear pellets took care of the tumor.
I have to tell you I never thought I would I would be the one sweating during the summer. Hobe always had the cooler going and I was under a quilt. Now the.table has turned as he has a hard time.staying warm. He's under a quilt most.of the time. I can't thank you all enough for supporting us in this journey to save my husband's life. God Bless you all.

This journey we're having to take is better with all of you that have donated and helped. We can't thank you enough but from our heart we are humbled and blessed.
My husband is resting a little easier knowing the donations are coming in and we can pay for the medical bills.
God bless you all ❤️

Hobert is in need of a liver transplant. Being from a rural area, traveling to his appointments takes its toll physically and financially. Anyone who has ever met this man can agree he deserves some help when he needs it most. He is a selfless member of his community, always doing his best to serve others but never asking for anything in return.
How ironic is it that man who wasnt that much of a drinker ends up needing a liver? Now is your time, as a community to take care of your own.
Currently, travel and motel expenses are eating away any savings. As a rural community it is known that Burns hospital cannot facilitate. Currently, trips to Boise are crucial. It is about 190 miles one way. For the transplant, travel and hotel are needed in Utah for several weeks. I've been told that a substantial amount of money is needed to at least get from appointment to appointment. I'm reaching out to see if anyone is willing to help support and assist my dad.
An auction fund raiser will be held August 3rd, in Burns, Oregons Elks Lodge.

**update**
June 18th Hobe went thru a procedure using Y 90 nuclear pellets placed around the tumor in his liver. We won't know the results for another 2 weeks or so. He's dealing with the exhaustion these pellets cause. He sleeps a lot. Please keep him and his family in your prayers. We can't say thank you enough and feel very blessed with the donations coming in. It's heartwrenching to ask for help. We always tried to help others never thinking it would be us someday. From our hearts to yours thank you.
