Jim started Tyler Cole Builders, a general contracting company specializing in remodels and additions, in 2001 with one goal - to give his kids the education he never got the opportunity to have. After years of hard work and dedication, Jim was successfully able to put all three of his children through private school, got his son Ty through three years of college and his daughter Maddie through one. Tragically though, Jim passed on April 12th of 2021, leaving three kids who have yet to finish their educations - 1 year, 3 years, and 4 years of college expenses still remain.
Obviously, Jim was a family man. His pride and joy in life was being a dad, and supporting/encouraging his kids in anything they did. He coached every sport his children played when they were younger, went to every event they were participating in, and most importantly taught them how to be like him - how to be genuine, trustworthy, honest people. No matter how busy his life or his work got, he was always made time for his number one priority- his family. Jim loved to travel. He would work his ass off in order to be able to bring his family on vacations to new places like Belize, Mexico, or Costa Rica.
Overall, Jim embodied what it means to be a great father and an even better man.
