Holcombe Family Support
Donation protected
Tuesday evening our friend and Co-Worker (Brandi Holcombe) received the news that no parent should ever have to hear. Her 23 year old daughter, Shania, was killed in a head on collision on Augusta Road in West Columbia.
Brandi has served the Lexington and Columbia areas for many years as a Respiratory Therapist at Lexington Medical Center and Providence Hospital. She is well known for her knowledge, work ethic and calm demeanor. Brandi has worked for the past few years with Compassionate Care Hospice and has made it possible for individuals to carry out their final wishes at home instead of the hospital. Just hours before her daughters accident Brandi spent majority of the day with a young patient who came home to be with her family. Brandi stayed for hours making sure this patient and family were comfortable with this patients new way of life before even thinking about leaving.
Brandi needs our help now as a community. No one ever plans to say goodbye to their children. With that being said-donating to this cause will take the financial burden of funeral expenses off of this single mother of three who is now grieving the loss of her oldest child.
