While I kick cancer's butt?

On August 20th I went in for a routine colonoscopy- came out with an announcement of “ Amy you have a large tumor, it’s most likely cancer!”   Yikes that throws a person for a loop!

The next week I had numerous Dr. visits & tests- feeling angry - sad - frustrated - &  it was verified it is cancer and my surgeon stated you have T3- stage 3  colon/rectal cancer-  I will need radiation & chemo 5 days a week for 6 weeks -& if successful  6 more weeks off to heal - hoping the tumor shrinks so I can have a successful surgery & be rid of cancer & be re-sectioned.

I then will have to have 4 months of chemo after.  My treatment will be complicated due to my other conditions of diabetes and an enlarged liver. I know this will be a long road- but I have an ARMY -  of Faith-family-friends & community to help me & my family to stay strong & get through this difficult time.
