Holiday Cheer for the Usperez Kids

Christmas Eve will sadly mark the anniversary of the untimely passing of Joanna Usperez , the beloved mother of five precious, loving children now ages 9 to 16. Over the past year, against all the odds presented by this unthinkable tragedy (and compounded by the COVID pandemic), the Usperez children are doing exceptionally well, enjoying the company of their cousins and learning remotely in the care of their remarkable aunt. Gabi (the youngest of the Usperez children) earned the third grade's Citizen of the Month award at her school this Spring, and both Graciela and Sandra (the eldest Upserez girls) made honor roll!

No doubt, this is going to be a challenging Christmas for the children, and so we asked their aunt how folks can be helpful in making this as peaceful and joyous of a holiday season as possible for the family. Her response: in lieu of gifts, she would be most appreciative of financial support to help her care for her now 11 children. In the spirit of the holiday, if you are so inclined, please consider contributing to the fund to help support the Usperez kids. All money raised will be used exclusively for food, clothing, rent and necessities for the children and their education. With your support, we can hopefully reach our goal of helping them move from their small apartment into a more suitable living space this upcoming year.
