Holiday Inn Great Sign

Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit American Sign Museum, and any donation will help restore the post and the STAR on the Holiday Inn Great Sign which is at the front door to this wonderful museum.
The Holiday Inn Great Sign is an American Classic and dotted American Highways from the 1950’s thru the 1970’s. It was one of the most recognized signs and logos in the world a true design landmark of the American century. The Great Sign was an exploding supernova of bright lights and neon designed to draw travelers off the highway. The Holiday Inn Great Sign at the American Sign Museum is the only remaining authentic exterior Great Sign in existence. Restoring the STAR on the Great Sign would complete this American Icon for all to enjoy.
I have found memories of traveling with my family during school breaks and summer vacations growing up. After a long hard day of traveling we looked for the Holiday Inn Great Sign for it represented clean and safe accommodations for families and of course all Holiday Inns had swimming pools. Upon graduating from college I joined a major franchisee of Holiday Inns and built my career in the hospitality industry. The hospitality and lodging industry provides outstanding career opportunities to anyone willing to learn and work hard. Thank you for preserving an American Classic!

I wish to complete an American Classic Neon Sign located at the American Sign Museum in Cincinnati, Ohio. The American Sign Museum is the largest sign museum in the world and has an original 55’ Holiday Inn Great Sign missing the post and Star.
