Holiday Toy Drive for Village Children

Hi my name is Isle Polonko. I am working with an activist in Sierra Leone, Ibrahim Bangura, who is working to end violence against children in his country. There is extreme poverty in the rural villages in Sierra Leone, no running water, no sanitation.. many homes do not have electricity and these children suffer unspeakable violence both in the family units and in the educational systems. These kids also suffer through extensive disease and illness with little to no access to healthcare. Many of these children will not survive past 5 years old. In January I am traveling to meet with the children in one remote village on the island of Lungi. I am trying to brighten up their holiday. These are children who have never received a toy in their lives. I need to raise money to purchase toys and much needed items for newborns, clothes, diapers, etc. This is the time of giving. Please find it in your hearts to donate a small amount to brighten up the lives of these beautiful children. They deserve a little bit of joy and hope this holiday season. Please help. Thank you.
