Help Holiday Beach Rebuild
Donation protected
As you all know, Hurricane Harvey hit the Texas coast last week as a Category 4 hurricane with the eye of the the storm moving directly over our homes in Rockport, TX.
While we are thankful everyone is safe, each of our family homes are just north of Rockport in the small community of Holiday Beach. Unfortunately, Holiday Beach seems to have been hit the hardest.

Our immediate family, Ray and Tamara Rogowicz, owned and loved our house on #8 Belaire in Holiday Beach for the last 20+ years. So many memories were made and will stay with us forever.
There was no cell service for days and with the flooding and debris it made it very difficult to even get into Holiday Beach. After 48hrs of anxiously awaiting and searching for any news about our homes, we learned on Sunday that our home was completely destroyed.

Just a couple streets over on Channelview, our grandparents permanent residence was severely damaged as well and until the inspector arrives they will not know whether they can return or afford the deductable.

After shedding many hugs, tears and fond memories together, the Rogowicz family is determined to rebuild. Chad, Ray and Cindy are there for Labor Day weekend to assess and start the journey.
After our feedback from friends and family, we wanted to help even more than just clean up our home but open up the "El Copano Rojo" relief fund for everyone.
El Copano Rojo
The fund is named after Chad's "Red Boat of Copano" as seen in our pictures on Facebook and Twitter. It was even briefly shown on the Weather Channel video footage showing the damage in Holiday Beach. Not sure if she is going to make it out alive but she's a symbol of hope for sure.
We have set a goal of $15,000 for now; we would like to not only help with our hands/backs but also help with anything else that may be needed to rebuild the entire community such as fresh water, more tools, rental equipment, etc.
All proceeds received will be donated directly towards the efforts of rebuilding our community of Holiday Beach. It is going to be a long journey to fully recover, but hopefully we can all help give back and make it a little easier.
Every little bit helps so no amount is too big or small.
HOLIDAY BEACH WILL RISE AGAIN
