Hello everyone, this will be a memorial/loss of life fundraiser for my mom who passed away suddenly on July 5, 2023. Everyone who knew our mom Jodie knew she was a loving, kindhearted, forgiving, extremely strong mom who should never let anyone leave without a hug and an I love you.
We’re doing this to raise money to help pay for already spent expenses and future expenses dealing with the sudden loss of mom. A few months ago our mom did contact me about creating a will randomly, she wasn’t sick or anything that we were aware of, but she declined help in making one at the time and jokingly said she’s just talking out of her butt. Anyone who knows her knows this would be in her sense of humor. I personally think she was just thinking about the death of our dad who unfortunately also passed away suddenly without a will ten years ago.
Any funds raised through here will go towards stuff that has already happened such as post life processes, loss of work. Future expenses such as cleaning the house out, maintaining the house, trying to keep up with the mortgage, going through probate court to settle the estate for me and my brother, and handle any future expenses that come up. We are going to be doing everything we can to try and keep the house in our family as it’s been quite literally our lives being spent there and only there.
No amount of thanks can be given to the help we’ve already received physically and emotionally, but we are incredibly thankful for any donations received here.
