Rainforest Preservation Project

About 20% of the oxygen we are breathing right now comes from the Amazon Rainforest.  I am a big fan of oxygen. Many of the medicines we enjoy were derived from the 60,000+ plants from these forests. This is one of the most biologically diverse places left on the planet, yet only 3% of the plants in the area have been scientifically studied and without change deforestration is on a trajectory to destroy much of these amazing forests.

It will take many decades to cleanup the heavy metal poisoning from mining and oil pollution and I hope to contribute in a small way. The ongoing programs replant known forests medicines, creating sustainable crops, agroforestry and expnad sustainable educational eco tourism models that are shared throughout the region. Here is a video on the project: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcUrX6gMfsg

The conservation project is deep in the jungles of Peru and serves as a border for the "Area de conservación Bahuaja". Maldonado Peru, near where the Peruvian, Brazilian and Bolivian borders is a few hours away via motorized canoe.  There is also a very Spartan educational and retreat center where people can work, learn and be of service in the majestic healing space of the forest.

Thank you for taking your time to let me share this project. Please Support if can! 100% of the proceeds are going directly to the projects.

All the best,
Scot
