Holly Daniel Hellard Medical Expenses

I am Fred T Daniel, Jr., uncle to Holly Daniel Hellard; she is the 33-year-old daughter of Scott and Katrina Daniel. She is married to Justin Hellard. She is the mother of two- Paisley (4), Paxton (almost 2). She is a Christian and faithfully involved at Center Grove Baptist Church in Clemmons, NC.

Five years ago Holly began having visual problems and loss of color in her sight. Other issues manifested themselves. She has had many appointments at Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem NC and at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL, Holly has had specialized DNA work with Invitae Labs in San Francisco, CA. In the last week, pancreatitis has also struck acutely.

After numerous tests, procedures and lab work, the diagnosis is a rare variant of Wolfram Syndrome with 95% certainty; as testing stands at this time, only one other adult in the world has been diagnosed with this same variant.

After out-of-pocket expenses in the last five years, Holly still owes $7,000. She goes to Cleveland Clinic in Ohio on April 17, 2023 for intense studies as to where she goes from here.

Please give as you can - Holly is involved in groundbreaking research and diagnostic studies. There will be many long out-of-state trips, fuel, and hotels over the ensuing months and lots of out-of-pocket medical bills. Please pray for her - this disorder has dreadful and swift consequences.
